let's get married.

I don't know why but lately I have been indulging myself in wedding-related speeches. I have been watching The Office, where they have the ever-amazing Jim Halpert and his spouse, Pam Beesley. Can I just honestly say that they have one of the most wonderful relationship on TV? I love how they have these random conversations that is sweet because it's their own and no one else would really get it ( perhaps besides the audience, cause I totally get it ).
plus, their wedding is fantastic. if you haven't watch it, please go and do so, cause I consider those two back to back episodes to be one of the best EVER, period.
alright, maybe that was an exaggeration, it's definitely one of the sweetest though :)
and for some rather odd reasons I've also been watching FRIENDS videos on youtube, highlighting on one of the best episode ever, the one where Chandler proposes to Monica. he's got some fine proposal speech there, mate.
and then there's the ever amazing Harry from "When Harry Met Sally" with his freaking words that I couldn't forget. I just couldn't. Because it's so true. I'm not going to blab any more.

and so let's get started, shall we?
if you watched these episodes, or read anything below and don't feel like getting married, maybe there's something wrong with you or you're just incredibly... well, whatever.

"Four years ago, I was just a guy who had a crush on a girl who had a boyfriend and I had to do the hardest thing I ever had to do, which was just to wait. Don't get me wrong, I flirted with her. Pam, I can now admit in front of friends and family that I DO know how to make a photocopy. I didn't need your help that many times. For a really long time, that's all I had. Little moments with a girl who saw me as a friend. And a lot of people told me that I was crazy to wait this long for a date with a girl who I worked with, but I think even then I knew, I was waiting for my wife."
Jim Halpert's Wedding Speech ( The Office Season 6)

"The boat was actually plan C. The Church was plan B…and plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago. Pretty much the day I met her."
Jim Halpert, after the wedding ceremony ( The Office Season 6 )

"I love that you get cold when it is 71 degrees out. I love that it takes you an hour and a half to order a sandwich. I love that you get a little crinkle in your nose when you're looking at me like I'm nuts. I love that after I spend day with you, I can still smell your perfume on my clothes. And I love that you are the last person I want to talk to before I go to sleep at night. And it's not because I'm lonely, and it's not because it's New Year's Eve. I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible."
Harry, When Harry Met Sally

“You erased me from your memories because you thought you were holding me back from having a full and happy life. But you made a mistake. Being with you is the only way I could have a full and happy life. You’re the girl of my dreams… and apparently, I’m the man of yours.

Henry, 50 First Dates (2004)

“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together … and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home. .. only to no home I’d ever known … I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like … magic.
Sam, Sleepless in Seattle

"Then I realized, that the only thing that matters is that you, you make me happier than I ever thought I could be. And if you'll let me, I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you feel the same way."
Chandler Bing, when proposing to Monica Geller in FRIENDS

"Love is, above all, the gift to oneself." Jean Anouilh
