it's 1.35am on a New Year's Eve.
well, hello.
what are you doing up?
or perhaps it's days later and this post is just another post to you?
I don't know how on Earth am I going to review the year 2011, but I'm going to start, not knowing how I'll be ending it.
2011... has been a year of changes.
there has been quite a number of them coloring up the 365 days I have to this specific digit.
I feel like it's been a good year as well.
I've met some amazing people, indulge myself in the most wonderful experiences and also took a step into the world I have been dreaming of.
the ride is not always pleasant, but it's been joyful and quite unforgettable.
I feel like I've learned a lot as well.
People around me are constantly sparking my life with inspirations and I am often surprised by their unexpected behaviors and unseen characters - this brought me new perspectives in life.
I open my eyes every day, seeing things from a new angle --- and I cherish every moment of it.
it's also been a year filled with gratitude.
I realized my place in this world, far more than I ever did,
I realized how important are my loved ones, and how they are simply irreplaceable by default.
things have been happening all throughout this year also.
friends come and go, people stay, people enter - everything revolves in constant motion, never stationary.
I'd like to think this year has been filled with a whole lot of love, too.
I hope 2011 has treat you well.
and if it hasn't, worry not - it's just not your year... yet.
and to all, I wish you a Happy New Year.
May the years to come be great years ahead and let us all hope and strive for the greatest things of all.
all the love in the world, for all of you beautiful people out there.
goodnight.
and Happy New Year.
I enjoyed this cover of "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" by Zooey Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, I hope you guys will too.
